Confederate statues find new homes in cemeteries, historical parks and warehouses
Some are collecting dust in warehouses while officials search for a new home for them. Some are being handed over to the same associations that commissioned them over a hundred years ago or plopped down in cemeteries that are the final resting places for Confederate dead. And one massive monument has found a new home along the banks of the Ohio River in a Kentucky historical park.
